Planning Commissioners may be disqualified and not able to participate in a proceeding covered by the Levine Act if, within the 12 months preceding the Planning Commission’s decision in the proceeding, the Commissioner received more than $500 in campaign contributions from the applicant, an agent of the applicant, or any financially interested participant who actively supports or opposes the Commission’s decision on the matter.
